Regional Business Development Coordinator - McKinney, TX

Jet Support Services, Inc. is seeking a well-qualified Regional Business Development Coordinator to be based at our McKinney, TX office.

Position Summary:

The mission of the Regional Business Development Coordinator (“RBDC”) is to work closely with the assigned Directors of Business Development to identify and convert new customers, help to grow existing accounts and assist the Directors of Business Development in meeting and exceeding quarterly sales quotas. The RBDC will monitor, qualify and manage in-bound leads, and undertake further lead or account research.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage lead qualification and identify early-stage sales for his/her assigned Directors of Business Development.
  2. Monitor sales inquiries and other marketing-generated leads from email boxes, phone inquiries, social media, web forms, event marketing, etc.
  3. Perform additional research on leads, their company and individuals to help facilitate the lead engagement strategy.
  4. Transfer background information gained from research activities and/or prospect engagement to the appropriate Directors of Business Development.
  5. Use available tools (including a legacy CRM database, Salesforce, industry publications and web resources) to undertake self-directed research on the industry to uncover new leads for processing.
  6. Contribute to the analysis of prospect inquiry and lead trends.
    1. Participate in the design and implementation of lead scoring and automation of lead assignment.
    2. Provide internal feedback as to the quality of leads coming from each marketing vehicle (email, phone, web forms, etc.) to spot best practices and areas for improvement in lead generation.
  7. Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers primarily by phone to open doors for increasing sales of JSSI’s products and services.
  8. Provide support to customers over the phone and conduct field visits as necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the business aviation industry.
  • Utilize sound experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Superior interpersonal and communications skills internally with JSSI, externally to clients, vendors and other industry leaders.
  • Possess excellent computer skills along with the ability to train others on system usage.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and set appropriate priorities.
  • Highly organized team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent computer skills with extensive knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude.
