In this role you will be supporting production test by applying your test engineering skills in support of the following :
+ Provide leadership for the production test team producing space hardware.
+ Assist the Engineering team in solving problems and troubleshooting modules.
+ Provide production test support by overseeing STE calibration and maintenance.
+ Interface with the engineering team and contract manufacturers to help solve production issues.
+ Interface with the customer in order to help with solving technical issues.
+ Assist in identifying process changes and resource needs in order to facilitate delivery of modules.
+ 4+ years experience in RF system test and integration
+ Proficiency with test equipment such as vector network analyzers spectrum analyzers signal analyzers digital signal generators and noise figure meters
+ A good understanding if RF specifications for systems modules and components.
+ Good communication skills.
+ Ability to lead other test engineers and technicians
+ Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or AS degree with equivalent experience
+ US government position. US citizenship required.
+ Up to 10% travel
+ Knowledge of amplifiers mixers oscillators and transceivers
+ Proficiency with programming in one or more languages such as LabView C/C++ C# Visual Basic or Python
+ Good understanding of test system calibration and validation for RF measurements.
+ Working knowledge of wafer probe and waveguide mechanics
+ Familiarity with Digital RF Modulation techniques
