As an Electronic Technician with RF experience you will utilize your exceptional ability to assemble test and troubleshoot components in our electronic assembly area of manufacturing. Employing your problem-solving skills your daily responsibilities will include RF phase matching axial ratio and return loss tuning and measurement to help build out antennas. As an expert in reading mechanical and electronic drawings and schematics you will work autonomously within our high-performance manufacturing team. As a hands-on technician you will operate various test equipment such as spectrum analyzer network analyzer multimeter and o-scope to get the job done and do it well.
This position will be a safety-sensitive position requiring a pre-employment drug screen to participate in our FAA Drug and Alcohol prevention program
+ 2+ years experience in assembly test and troubleshooting of electronic and feed assemblies including experience in RF
+ Must have the ability and knowledge on how to operate various test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer Network Analyzer and Multimeter
+ Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electronic drawings and schematics Associates degree in Electronics or equivalent experience
+ US government position. US citizenship required.
+ Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening

The ViaSat Atlanta facility is located in the northeastern suburb of Duluth. Having recently relocated to a new purpose-built campus this office supports the dramatically growing Antenna Systems Group with engineering program management business development manufacturing and product support.
