In this role you will be responsible for developing hardware software and processes for testing and troubleshooting state of the art commercial and military communications products. You are someone who is hands-on but can take the lead in projects and you enjoy working hard and seeing the results. You are a problem-solver and take initiative to drive to results. You will work closely with Operations Production and R&D on continuing to build our test capabilities while improving existing test procedures and methods. You will help take ViaSat technology to the next level as you produce test procedures and reports and execute test plans. Sound interesting? Keep reading
+ 5+ years of hardware testing and troubleshooting experience with emphasis in RF/Microwave hardware and high power high frequency signals.
+ Hands-on experience using lab test equipment such as vector network analyzers spectrum analyzers signal analyzers digital signal generators and noise figure meters
+ Development of test plans and procedures.
+ Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
+ US government position. US citizenship required.
+ Up to 10% domestic travel
+ Experience in test fixture design.
+ Proficiency in developing and debugging RF parametric and RF digital modulation functional tests
+ Software programming skills in LabVIEW Python .NET C++ C#
+ Skills in RF amplifiers mixers oscillators and transceivers circuitry analysis
