Upholstery Technician Duties

Gulfstream Aircraft Manufacturer located in Long Beach Ca is looking for Upholstery Techs to work first shift 7am to 3:30pm. Job duties entail interpreting complex prints to layout fabricate assemble and install custom aircraft interiors and furnishings. Cuts trims fits sews and applies adhesives retainers and buttons necessary to complete the trim and upholstery operation within specifications.

HS Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Minimum 3-5 years aircraft upholstery completing experience or 5 years custom furniture or auto-trimming exp. is required. Industrial sewing machine experience and small hand and power tool (drills faom cutters) and pattern making exp. is required. Occasional Travel may be required.
