Aircraft Upholstery Technician Duties

MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK FIRST OR SECOND SHIFT. Upholstery: Perform upholstery and carpet installations on Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Includes the ability to measure cut sew and finish upholstery on furniture and paneling in VIP custom aircraft. Requirements: 5 yrs aviation experience with working knowledge of VIP upholstery and carpet installations. Must have a broad knowledge of upholstery including seats and panels.
Must be able to read blueprints effectively and interpret technical documents.
Able to read write and understand English. Must have a complete set of tools and tool box required for the skill prior to starting work at the facility. It is expected that this contractor be able go to work on the floor right after a brief orientation.
