Technical Writer Maintenance - Engineer Duties
Reporting to the general manager-Technical Publications - Communications responsibilities of the Technical Writer include but are not limited to: • Convert current Maintenance - Engineering Standard Practice Manual to a General Maintenance Manual • Incorporate the Air Transportation Oversight System (ATOS) Safety attributes into all processes and procedures • Develop cross-references between sections of the General Maintenance Manual • Act as subject matter expert and recruit other experts to develop content for new policy and procedures • Review Standard Practice policies and procedure revisions to ensure they are in compliance with and remain in compliance with the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs); this will include recommendation of best practices as necessary... more position detail >>
