ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Create as necessary relevant procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance to all customer company and FAA requirements. · Identify and support qualification of new sources of material/service supply. · Analyze market conditions and ensure a competitive environment for the acquisition of material/services is maintained. · Lead supplier development to improve operational performance. · Maintain all relevant commercial records related to the purchasing activity and ensure that the records are auditable. · Audit purchasing performance using relevant supplier performance metrics and verify corrective action for non-conforming performance. · Manage train and motivate staff buyers in all areas of purchasing. ·... more position detail >>
