Airport Maintenance Worker Pay Rate: $27,210 Qualifications The Wayne County Airport Authority is accepting resumes for Airport Maintenance Workers. Qualifications include a high school diploma or its equivalent, a valid State of Michigan Commercial driver’s license with an “A” designation (including airbrake test); and must obtain an “N” endorsement within the first four- (4) months of employment. Duties Airport Maintenance Workers perform a variety of airport field maintenance work, including general maintenance and construction work; operate equipment and service a variety of power and general maintenance equipment in the upkeep of runways, taxiways, aprons and other related duties. Appointees assigned at the Airport work on a 24 hour, seven-day operation and may be required to work on a shift which includes weekends and holidays.
