RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for implementing and maintaining Unix servers including RedHat and Solaris. Responsible for system administration and OS troubleshooting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Unix system backup and recovery

· Ensuring the corporate security policy is adhered to in the Unix environment

· Responsible for setting up and monitoring Unix logging in support of Sox auditing

· Monitor the status and performance of Unix hardware and operating systems

· Troubleshoot Unix hardware and software problems

· Responsible for building Unix servers including SUN Solaris servers
