Senior Systems Engineer Duties

Position Information: Northwest Airlines is seeking a qualified candidate for a Senior Systems Engineer in our Capacity Planning And Application Performance division of the Information Services department. This is a full time position located in Minneapolis/St. Paul Minnesota.

Responsibilities: Responsible for designing and defining systems requirements for new and/or existing Northwest systems. Determine system specifications and hardware/software compatibility. Provide technical support and IT consulting and design input to other employees. Responsibilities will focus on Capacity Planning Trending and Performance of Mainframe Unix and Windows databases.
