Avionics Project Engineer Duties
Category: Maintenance Position: Avionics Project Engineer
Description: Report to the Director of Aircraft Maintenance and Technical Services and is responsible for developing repairs alterations and maintenance specifications. Provides engineering assistance to all sections and departments of Skybus Airlines.
-#61611; Valid Transport Category Airframe Power Plant license.
-#61611; Minimum 3 years 121 Airline experience in aircraft maintenance with comprehensive knowledge of avionics systems.
-#61611; BS Degree in engineering with avionics/electrical concentration preferred.
-#61611; Must possess proven problem solving and project management skills
-#61611; Must be a creative self starter who remains proficient in engineering field.
-#61611; Ability to develop research and interpret engineering data.
-#61611; Ability to read and understand aircraft wiring diagrams maintenance manuals drawings and IPCs is required
-#61611; Excellent understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations.
-#61611; Able to stand bend and reach in order to maintain files and sit for extended periods of time.
-#61611; Working knowledge in MS Office Suite Acrobat Reader and browser usage.
-#61611; Willing to work outside in inclement weather conditions when necessary.
-#61611; Must be flexible to work any shift weekends and/or holidays.
-#61611; Able and willing to travel.
-#61611; Must be able to obtain valid US Passport prior to start date if requested.

-#61611; Based at CMH.
-#61611; Need to pass a 10 year security background check and a drug test.
