Mechanic Aircraft Lead Duties

Must be capable of effectively supervising maintenance personnel in accomplishment of assigned duties. The incumbent will ensure compliance with Federal Company and/or departmental rules regulations and policies. Must be able to inspect and repair various aircraft systems components and ground support equipment to ensure compliance with prescribed aircraft or equipment maintenance standards. Possession of a valid FAA Air Frame and Powerplant Certificate is preferred (or equivalent experience). Requires graduation from a standard four (4) year high school or equivalent (GED) AND seven (7) years of experience in work directly-related to aircraft maintenance of which two years must have been a lead role making airworthiness decisions.
